North Star extruders stand out in their design and functionality, offering a unique approach that sets them apart from others. They are crafted to be straightforward, secure, and cost-effective. Both models feature a 4-inch square steel barrel tapered at the top for easy loading. Additionally, each comes equipped with a long extension handle, providing extra leverage for small extrusions or stiff clay.

The Expansion Box is a valuable extruder accessory that enables users to create larger extrusions with their North Star 4-inch extruder. This is achieved by adapting the bottom part of a detachable box to fit North Star's selection of 6-inch dies. We offer a variety of stock 6-inch dies, and custom dies can be quickly made at an affordable price. The expansion box is constructed of high-quality aluminum, with all mating surfaces machined flat for a tight seal. The die retainer mounting ears feature steel inserts for the bolts to screw into. The expansion box's ears with slots are machined for easy sliding onto and off of the extruder. The die retainer ring and hardware are made of steel, while all outside surfaces are powder-coated for a durable, lasting finish.
